1. Machochwe:

Situated in the Northern Serengeti, the village of Machochwe is home to people of the Wakuri tribe. This area also receives the most amount of rainfall of any other region in the Serengeti which allows the ecosystem to support a wide variety of plants and animals. Learn more >

2. Piyaya, Pinyiyi, Engaresero, Arash:

Located in the Eastern section of the Serengeti ecosystem these Maasai communities are hemmed in by the ancient Gol Mountains to the west and Lake Natron to the east. It’s an important area for wildebeest calving and therefore a fantastic place to witness the last Great Migration. Learn more >

3. Matemwe:

This beach lover’s paradise is located in the Northeast corner of Zanzibar Island and overlooks the Indian Ocean. A classic fishing town, Matemwe fishermen set out in traditional dhow boats every morning and return in the afternoon with fresh fish and octopus. Learn more >
