Jonathan Mwakyusa is the head chef of Sayari Camp in the northern Serengeti region and is very pleased with the organic vegetables and herbs he receives from Machochwe community farmers. Sayari Camp has been a part of Honeyguide’s project since it first started 5 years ago. Since Machochwe is located so close to the camp site Jonathan receives all the vegetables he needs a couple times a week, usually the next day after an order, and all the produce he gets is freshly picked. As Jonathan says, “freshness is the key to good food.”
