Lion Recovery Fund

Lion Recovery Fund’s goal is, by 2050, to reverse the 50% reduction in lion numbers that has occurred over the last 25 years. They work to achieve this aim by helping lions, their habitats and prey, and people thrive in protected areas. LRF is supporting Honeyguide in Makame.

Carbon Tanzania is a social enterprise that uses an innovative business approach to protecting forests and wildlife. They help communities realize the economic value of their forests by selling carbon offsets, such as in Makame, where Honeyguide and Carbon Tanzania have partnered to help the Wildlife Management Area move towards sustainable financial independence.

Snowball uses training, facilitating, and coaching to integrate learning processes within organizations. They have helped Honeyguide continue to grow into a more effective and thoughtful team.

Wildaid

While most wildlife conservation groups focus on scientific studies and anti-poaching efforts, WildAid works to reduce global consumption of wildlife products and to increase local support for conservation efforts. Wildaid are supporting Honeyguide communities reduce conflict with elephants by supporting the crop protection program.
