The Pan-African Ornithological Congress that was held in Arusha, Tanzania from the 14th to 21st October 2012 supported the Honeyguide Foundation. The conference was organized and run by the Honeyguide Foundation with the aim that the surplus funds from the conference would go to support the core costs of the organization.
