Position: Fleet and Workshop Administrator (Intern)
Location: Honeyguide HQ, Arusha
Duration: 3 months (Renewable once)
Reporting to: Program Services Manager
Honeyguide is seeking a well-organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Fleet and Workshop Administrator Intern. This internship offers hands-on experience in managing vehicle movements, workshop operations, and camping equipment logistics. The role supports the day-to-day efficiency of our fleet and ensures compliance with internal procedures and safety standards.
Key responsibilities include tracking vehicle movements using GPS systems, analyzing fuel usage, maintaining compliance with road safety and insurance requirements, managing workshop inventory, scheduling repairs, and overseeing camping equipment. The intern will also help develop and implement systems and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and accountability.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, values structure, and enjoys working with data and systems. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance, GPS tracking tools, and workshop management is a plus. Strong ethics, accountability, and the ability to follow established procedures are essential.
