Making waste management fun and educational at the same time, the Honeyguide Foundation has developed a set of 2 cartoon posters for school children in Matemwe to color and take home. Download these posters from our media page here and use them in your local community too.
Complete with a set of instructions and a story to go with the image, the poster acts as an educational tool for children in the community to understand the importance of waste management. And since the poster will eventually reach the households the message of cleanliness will spread throughout the village. This is an effective and cheap way to reach the community especially the kids and their mums, key people to changing attitudes at home.
